Isaiah Silvia-Chandley is a choreographer, director, and performance maker based in New York City.

His work lives at the intersection of dance, theater, and social practice, exploring how movement can generate intimacy, transformation, and belonging. Drawing inspiration from queer culture, nightlife, and communal rituals, he creates performance experiences that blur the boundaries between choreography and lived experience. He is particularly interested in the friction and harmony between old and new forms, drawing from theatrical traditions while embracing contemporary modes of gathering, social dance, queer world-building, and collective experience.

Originally from New Hampshire and previously based in Chicago, Isaiah's work is rooted in a fascination with the ways people gather, move, and create meaning together. Whether in a theater, on a dance floor, or in an unconventional performance space, he sees movement as a vehicle for connection, self-discovery, and joy.

His performance and choreographic work has been seen at Goodman Theatre, Paramount Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, and Porchlight Music Theatre, to name a few. Alongside Michael Samarie George, he received a Jeff Award nomination for Outstanding Choreography for Paramount Theatre's award winning production of Kinky Boots.

Isaiah is currently developing STAY, an orginal dance play inspired by New York City's nightlife culture. The project explores artistic burnout, queer community, and the dance floor as a site of freedom, reinvention, and radical self-expression.
